Stay-to-Stay Weekends: Turning Visitors into Locals

towns-and-regions-northern-vt-module.jpg

In 2018, the State of Vermont piloted an initiative known as Stay-to-Stay with the aim of converting visitors to Vermont residents. The weekends looks like this:

  • Individuals sign up for a Stay-to-Stay weekend in the area of their choosing.

  • When they arrive, they are welcomed at an evening reception where they enjoy local activities, dining, and Vermont-specific experiences.

  • They have the opportunity to network with employers, realtors, daycare providers, visit an area co-working space, and more.
